UCI Voces Chamber Ensemble

UCI Voces Chamber Ensemble is an auditioned group of 24 singers, composed of members from the UCI Chamber Singers—the flagship ensemble of UC Irvine’s choral program. The group includes both vocal performance majors and accomplished singers from a variety of academic disciplines.

In the spring of 2025, the ensemble was recognized by The American Prize classical music competition as the winner of the Ernst Bacon Award for the Performance of American Music, and also earned second place in the category of Best Choral Performance.

Voces has performed concert premieres at Walt Disney Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall, and regularly collaborates with living composers. In the fall of 2024, the UCI Choirs partnered with Signum Records, and their music is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The ensemble toured Ireland in 2023, Carnegie Hall in 2024, and Portugal in the spring of 2025.
